The Dayton Air Strikers is Dayton Ohio's (Minor League) Pro Development Basketball Team. Launching its inaugural season, in December 2010. The team is going into its fifth consecutive season in the Winter of 2014 - 2015. The team's mission for the community is to provide competitive,affordable &,exciting sports entertainment for the whole family.
The Team has played (2) two seasons in the Premier Basketball League winning the Preseason Tournament in the PBL winter of 2011-2012. (1) One summer season in the International Basketball League going undefeated in the IBL midwest conference.
The team participated in a short stint in the Central Basketball League (CBL)
in April - June of 2013. In the spring of 2014 the team particiapated in the (OPBO) Ohio Pro Development Organization (Summer Series) playing teams from Cincinnati, Akron, Columbus, Middletown, Indiana, & Kentucky. Inthe Summer of 2015 The team played in
summer tournament league against teams out of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky in the GLSL.
The organizion gives opportunities to play and be exposed on the pro level nationally and internationally. Players travel nationally and internationaly throughout the year. Players are trained and developed to enhance core skills expanding player's abilties preparing them for overseas and international play.
The Airstrikers operate the Pro Development program year around offering players the opportunity to constantly stay in shape, increase stats, and be prepared for possible call ups to other leagues. The organization acheives this goal by playing regular seaaon games and summer series, that operates from late Fall to Spring and Summer months.
The organizaions also holds multiple adult & youth training camps throughout the year.
The Dayton Air Strikers will play in the Spring-Summer of 2016 in the OPBO
for a full season playing a 14 game schedule. With teams based out of Columbus, Dayton,
Cincinnati, and Toledo.

The main objective is player development to mentally and physically prepare athletes for professional play on an international platform.The Dayton Air Strikers provide an outlet and vehicle to showcase the Ohio region's top athletes in a professional setting with regulation shot clocks, game officials, stats and game film.
Since inception the Dayton Air Strikers has launched the careers of over 15 players starting at college level.
Recruiting players from well known colleges such as University of Dayton, Penn State, Ohio State, Wright State, and Universty of Cincinnati. Leaving directly from the team to play internationally in Germany, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Spain,Japan, Peurto Rico, Iceland, and Saudi Arabia. Players also have gone on to playing for the NBA-D League & Harlem Globetrotters.
